My first kit layouts from The Scrapbook Bungalow

This was fun yet challenging. I am used to having all supplies at my disposal and not limiting myself to certain things. I think they turned out well. I would love some feedback.

Happy Mothers Day!

Happy Mothers Day to all you mothers! What a wonderful day the Lord has given us! Above are the Mothers Day cards I made last night. The top one is a picture printed on bazzill of my MIL, SIL, and GMIL. The bottom is a picture of my mother and I. I saw my beautiful daughter at church this morning and she gave me a card. DH brought me some flowers (daisies...my favorite) and a card. He even started cooking dinner while I took a nap this evening. I tried to call my mother several times today and finally got her about 8:30 this evening. Hope to get to see her soon. Well it is back to work tomorrow for 24 hours. :)

So much excitement going on!

OK I finished my first project for the Design Team last week. Here it is pictured. The more I look at it the more I love it. I am so excited to represent my LSS. Shannon puts so much hard work into her business and it really shows. Her creations are gorgeous and the fact that she would choose me to be on her team. Well I can't fathom a better compliment. She is taking her LSS online and is adding items daily including this which will be a kit very soon. The website is www.scrapbookbungalow.com Check her out!

Other excitement is my dh graduated from the local community college Thursday night. He took all online courses to get his Associates Degree for his Paramedic. I am so proud of him as he took a large portion of these courses as we were building our house. He really stepped up to the plate. He looked so handsome in his cap and gown. His parents and sister and her family came to the graduation. It was a big deal that his father came because he doesn't do public events. Now he is going to go after his Bachelors but isn't sure what he wants to pursue.

I just finished 2 Mothers Day cards tonight and started on Fathers Day cards. Used so stuff from www.scrapbookbungalow.com including Tres Jolie, 7 Gypsies, and DCWV ribbon. I printed out the photos on Bazzill cardstock for that textured look. It is so timeless. Happy Mothers Day to all of you Mothers. Have a blessed day!
