http://simplysusanblogspot.com/2008/04/spot-come-home-freebie.html is the link! Sorry I am learning how to use this blog with my Mac. It is a little different. Apparently the link button doesn't work so great! :)

Back in the saddle!!

Well I have a new computer. Very disappointed in my Dell and it dying on me despite having antivirus and what not. But from talking to others who have or have had Dell this is not uncommon for them. I went Apple. Got the new MacBook Pro! I am liking it so far! So now I have been playing catch up on about a month of emails. :)

I wanted to share a link for a cute digi kit. It is from Susan and it is dog themed. As most of you know I have a Rottie puppie. He is 5 months old and weighs 76 lbs. So much for the puppiness. LOL Anyhow here is a link for her kit. Check it out and leave her some love!

Now back to my regularly scheduled catching up on emails.

On reprieve

Not by choice I tell you! My laptop at home has crashed. Not sure why. My antivirus is up to date! I have been downloading some digital sbing kits but they were free of viruses per the website I downloaded them from! That was the last thing I did! So no pretty photo posts for awhile. Sorry!

The child and dog are pushing my buttons!

How does everything know how to annoy you all at one time! My daughter last night has been very whiny! More so than usual! I hope she hasn't come down with something. I have disciplined her so much lately and nothing seems to work long term. And the dog..........well I have had to "shock" him twice this morning with his collar! Hard headed. My cold is still kicking. Just remedicated. Going to take dd to school then lie down. Not going to work my home health job today as I don't want to take a chance getting my patient or his family sick! I leave you with a page I did recently. My camera disappeared for over a month right before Christmas. I looked everywhere for it to no avail. My dh went down in the basement and found it lying on a pile of stuff. The last picture on it is the picture on this layout and I didn't take it so needless to say she "busted" herself. I love that she is playing with the camera some but put it back where it belongs please. At first this layout seemed very busy to me but instead of taking away I just kept adding and finally found the balance I wanted. Enjoy and thanks for looking!

The cold continues

Well I continue to be medicated for this old cold. Can't shake this congestion! Well I am off to scrap today with two divas. So I leave you with another page I completed recently. These pictures are of Emma singing Taylor Swifts "Teardrop on my guitar". I should post the video on here too! LOL

Wish it were friday!

You aren't going to believe this. I can't believe I haven't posted about it yet. A new kit club! And it rocks. http://www.twelvefridays.com/. It started in February. When I saw the color combinations and the design I knew I was hooked. The business is one of great integrity and they take pride in their product. As well they should! I have always been a fan of Basic Grey and Scenic Route but I think that this 12 Fridays paper is now my favorite. I just joined the paper portion but am thinking now that I am going to have to upgrade. Well today on Willow Traders 12 Fridays is hosting their 3rd anniversary celebration. You can check out their product and be eligible for door prizes. The 3 items they have shown today alone knocked my socks off. I need to take a nap but don't want to miss anything. LOL I am fighting a cold and pills aren't eliminating or reducing my congestion at all! Enough of me..................... Here is my first creation with Februarys kit.

The pictures are of Emma starting an IV on a mannequin. She watched as I tested paramedic students then went verbatim and did it herself better than the students too. LOL Journaling reads "Mommy do you have to take their arm off to start their IV? Such innocent learning!" I love how her brain isn't completely persuaded by this world. I added the sticker letters and Jenni Bowlin label with some BG rub-ons. Thanks for looking and head on over to http://www.willowtraders.com/. Oh and here is a sneak peek of something to come.

Leap Year

I can see why this year is called a Leap Year. It is leaping on by. I can not believe it is March already. I love to read other peoples blogs and must admit I am jealous of all the snow so many of you are getting. We have not had the ground covered here at all this winter and I don't think we did last year either. Well my neice and her mother leave in the morning for her Senior Mission trip to the Bahamas. I am so excited and proud of her. I am going to go see her off at 5 am so this is a quick post as I must retire early. I leave you with a page I completed at ScrapBowl of my dear friend Heather is always the life of the party.

I used some Hambly, MM acrylic paint, Creative Imaginations rub-ons, Fancy Pants rub-ons, Prima bling, American Crafts thickers and rub-ons.
